Felix "Tom" Fornaciari

November 17, 1934 - April 8, 2008

Felix "Tom" Fornaciari, 73, passed away on April 8, 2008 in Stockton. He was preceded in death by his

father Felice Fornaciari, his mother Josephine Fornaciari and Sister Annarose Fornaciari. A native Stocktonian and avid baseball fan, Tom was previously president, coach and umpire of Sundown Little League where he passed away on Tuesday evening doing what he loved best, watching one of his three grandsons play baseball. A proud and dedicated grandparent, Tom and his wife Mary, of over fifty years, spent many weeknights and weekends traveling between Stockton and Valley Springs to watch their grandsons play.

While his own children were growing up, he donated many hours of volunteer labor helping with the upkeep of the fields and structures at the Sundown Little League Baseball Park. Tom was also an automobile enthusiast. He was a past member of the Manteca "Thunder Jets" Car Club, and spent countless weekends competing with his Ford Roadster at the Kingdom Drag Strip in his younger days. In addition Tom was a recipient of Colonial Heights Elementary PTA Honorary Service Award during his years as an active and involved parent. When it came to family and friends, he was always there for anyone who needed him, willing to offer up pieces of advice and wisdom to anyone who would listen.

Tom is survived by his loving wife, Mary, his three children, along with their spouses: Donna and Joe Feldman, David and Brigitte Fornaciari, and Daniel and Traci Fornaciari, as well as his brother-in-law and his spouse, John and Maxine Ferraiolo. He is also survived by his six grandchildren and one great-grandchild: Chrissy, Joseph, Nicholas, Johnny, Alexis, Tara, Eliza as well as Donna and Mike LeCuyer and family, and his beloved 56 Ford Pick-up.
